The white ones are cerys and Bianca respectively. Some MBH have really inconsistent coloring, Bianca being one. Others like Rosie seem to have been made in different plastics. I have a pair that is more brown and shiny, and one that is more dull and black. Sometimes the hoof markings are slightly different colors too, my Samantha's have 2 shades of brown, my pair of mishkas is one brown and one gray! I have 3 Romanys, they all look a different color. It really just depends on the exact horse you have, and I find the more airbrushing or unique coloring on a horse, the wider array of outcomes you'll get. The Minnie I sent you had more markings on its face than the two I kept. The others are in perfect shape, I love the Fleurs. The permanent marker is easy to remove thankfully 91% alcohol does the trick beautifully for body coloring! i would stick with 70% for the hair. It doesn't damage the finish either. You can use q tips to apply it, or a cotton ball. The nail polish is a little trickier. The alcohol might be a strong enough solvent, but nail polish remover will ruin the color and warp the plastic from my unfortunate experience

Helene, the only Fleur I have available is the one with the haircut, as the left one is my own and the middle has been reserved. I can wait until the outcome of the Ebay lot if you prefer, as that Fleur(if it's her) may be in better condition Sanda, thanks a million for clearing that up I've tried nail polish remover, and it doesn't seem to do too much damage, if applied with a q-tip and wiped immediately with a tissue but I will definitely try the alcohol on the hair, as I'm not sure if shampoo will be harmful to the fibres. Can you just get that particular percent in hobby shops?

No prob! I'm always happy to share the tips I've picked up along the way from others Haha yeah I soaked a foot of mine once, that was bad >< Wiping it up right away is awesome, thanks for letting me know that works! I should have mentioned I literally dunked the whole food of mine in. Shampoo is indeed questionable. My friends and I used to always wash the MBH with shampoo, but honestly some of the horses have frizzy manes these days (and not just tangled-frizz, I'm talking about the kind where the fibers are unstable and seem like they might just snap off). I have no idea if the shampoo did that or not. Doing it once is definitely no problem (I've done it more recently when I got ones in bad shape), but I think repeated use like we did when we played was bad. You can get rubbing alcohol at any grocery store, hobby stores in my country don't carry it (they probably carry other solvents for painting and such, but I wouldn't use them).

Rubbing alcohol it is then I wasn't sure if you meant the one used for cleaning acrylic paint off brushes or not. I think the fibre-snapping is just age, what happened to my Brownie and Toffee is that when I was giving them a clean-up the ends of their manes and tails were very dry and sort of just fell off as I brushed them! I've used the nail polish remover on a few of them and there isn't a lot of noticeable difference to the plastic, there's a tiny bit of a kind of residue left though
